SPUG REPORTS CAPACITY AND TRANSMISSION PROJECTS COMPLETED IN 2011

  


In a report, which it recently submitted to the NPC Corporate Communications group, SPUG reported the projects, which it completed in 2011. DOE ISSUES 2012 MEDP

  


The Department of Energy (DOE) recently issued this month its 2012 - 2016 Missionary Electrification Development Plan (2012 MEDP). According to the DOE, the 2012 MEDP "will be the blueprint on which missionary electrification policy actions in the next five years will be based and will evolve as necessitated by circumstances. read more

SPUG FILES TRUE-UP PETITION TO RECOVER UCME SHORTFALLS FOR CY 2010

  


On 23 March 2012, the National Power's SPUG filed - under the True-up mechanism - its petition with the ERC to recover shortfalls in the amount of PhP 4,154,848.32 or 0.0649 PhP/kWh from the UCME for 2010. In its petition under ERC Case No. 2012-046 RC, SPUG alleged that the UCME subsidy received for CY 2010 did not sufficiently cover its expenses considering that the aggregate revenues from the sales in the missionary areas.... read more

President Froilan A. Tampinco unveiled the New NPC Mission and Vision statement during the 05 March 2012 flag-raising ceremony at the NPC Head Office. The NPC Mission-Vision was reformulated to match its re-focused mandate to perform Missionary Electrification in support of social progress and nation building ; and as the steward of watershed areas that host hydro electric power plants.
