The Philippine Star, Belgian power company, ENFINITY, is said to be planning to enter into an agreement with NAPOCOR to
install about 10 MW of capacity in Romblon, Palawan and Quezon provinces
using solar energy.

foreign power firms, CLENERGINE and ENERTINE in developing
biomass power.

SIX BARANGAYS IN BATAG ISLAND, LAOANG,
NORTHERN SAMAR TO BE ENERGIZED
In a report carried by the major newspapers on 10 May 2010, it was revealed that NPC-SPUG
will build new power facilities to totally energize six barangays in Batag Island,
Laoang in Northern Samar. This undertaking forms part of NAPOCOR's off-grid electrification
project under its SPUG operations, the report further stated.

NAPOCOR TO OFFER P 15 BILLION BONDS
THIS MONTH

State-owned National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR) will
offer about P15 billion worth of peso-denominated bonds within the month.
"I think we want it in place within the month," NAPOCOR president
Froilan Tampinco said. Tampinco said they would use the proceeds from the bond offer to fund their budget requirement for
the rest of the year and up to the first quarter of next year. He said they are still determining if they will offer the bonds
to retail and institutional investors. Right now, the company is firming up talks with various financial institutions for the
bond offering.
